BiltyBoss ("the App") is operated by ShiftCompare Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your phone number (for OTP-based authentication), business name, owner name, city, address, GST number (optional), and company logo (optional).

Business data you create: Surveys, quotations, shifting records, customer details (name, phone, address), item inventories, WhatsApp message templates, financial records (amounts, payments), and generated PDF documents. This data is created by you and stored to provide the app's core functionality.

Device information: We collect a device identifier to enforce single-device login. We do not collect device contacts, call logs, SMS, photos (except when you explicitly upload a company logo), or location data.

Usage data: Basic app usage analytics (screens visited, features used, error logs) to improve the app. This data is anonymized and not linked to your personal identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the app's core features: survey management, quotation generation, shifting tracking, PDF creation, and WhatsApp message preparation.
• To authenticate your identity via phone OTP and enforce single-device login.
• To store and sync your business data across app sessions.
• To generate branded PDF documents (quotations, invoices, survey inventories) with your business details.
• To improve app performance and fix bugs using anonymized usage data.
• To send you service-related notifications (subscription reminders, feature updates). We do not send promotional messages.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, which uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers. Data at rest is encrypted. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS/SSL.

Row-Level Security (RLS) is enforced at the database level, meaning each user can only access their own data. No other user or mover can see your business records, customer details, or financial information.

Company logos are stored in a secure cloud storage bucket with access restricted to the uploading user.

Generated PDFs are created on your device and stored locally. They are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly share them via WhatsApp or email.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal or business data with any third party, except:

• Authentication provider: Your phone number is shared with our SMS/OTP provider (MSG91 or equivalent) solely for sending one-time passwords during login. They do not store your number beyond the OTP delivery.
• Payment processor: If you purchase a subscription, your payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store your credit card, debit card, or bank account details. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by Indian law, court order, or government authority.

5. Customer Data You Enter

You may enter your customers' names, phone numbers, addresses, and other details into the app for survey and quotation purposes. You are the data controller for this customer data. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from your customers for storing their information and sharing quotations/documents with them.

We process this customer data solely to provide you with the app's features and do not use it for any other purpose.

6. Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the app at any time.
• Export: You can generate PDF documents of your surveys, quotations, and invoices and save them to your device.
• Correction: You can edit your business profile, customer details, and all records within the app.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your entire account and all associated data by emailing support@biltyboss.in. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving the request.
• Portability: You can request an export of all your data in a standard format by emailing support.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

If your subscription lapses (free tier included), your data is retained for 12 months of inactivity. After 12 months without any login, we may delete your account and data after sending a 30-day notice to your registered phone number.

8. Children's Privacy

BiltyBoss is a business application intended for adults operating packers and movers businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

9. Permissions We Request

• Camera / Photo Library: To upload your company logo. We do not access your photos for any other purpose.
• Internet: To sync your data with our servers and generate OTPs for login.
• Storage: To save generated PDF documents to your device for sharing.

We do not request access to your contacts, call logs, SMS, location, microphone, or any other sensitive device permissions.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notification before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

12. Governing Law
